DIRECT CARE PROGRAMS

RESOURCE REFERRAL PROGRAM

THE CUPCAKE GIRLS HAS HUNDREDS OF RESOURCES IN OUR NETWORK AVAILABLE TO PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS THROUGH OUR RESOURCE REFERRAL PROGRAM.

The Referral Program serves program participants who have one or two particular needs by giving referrals to vetted, safe, and inclusive partners and resources who have agreed to see our program participants pro-bono or at a reduced cost. These partners may be individuals or organizations in the community and include doctors, tax preparers, therapists, and parent and family resources.

PLEASE FILL OUT A SUPPORT REQUEST IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH OUR REFERRAL PROGRAM.

ADVOCACY PROGRAM

THE ADVOCACY PROGRAM IS INTENDED FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WITH MORE ROBUST GOALS.

In this program, program participants meet weekly with an assigned Cupcake Girls Advocate who will collaborate to set and achieve S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, + Time-Based) goals, and connect program participants with partners and resources. The Advocacy program assists with needs such as: domestic violence, sex trafficking, substance abuse, career development, and homelessness. This program on average lasts 6-9 months, but there is no end date. A program participant may work with our Advocacy program for as long as they need.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

SUPPORT GROUPS

THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM IS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN AN ONGOING 1:1 CONNECTION AND SUPPORT SYSTEM.

The Mentorship Program is intended for program participants who would like a support system and someone to talk to on a regular basis but who aren’t looking for resources/assistance with achieving goals. It is more centered on general personal and professional development than the Referral or Advocacy programs.

PLEASE FILL OUT A SUPPORT REQUEST IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM.

SUPPORT GROUPS PROVIDE A SPACE WHERE FOLKS ARE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH PEERS FOR SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY BUILDING.

Support groups offer peer support on a weekly, 90 minute basis. Support Groups are for program participants of The Cupcake Girls and approved guests who are within the population we work with. Support groups are free.
