OUR MISSION
The Cupcake Girls provides confidential support to those involved in the sex industry, as well as trauma-informed outreach, advocacy, holistic resources, and referral services to provide prevention and aftercare to those affected by sex trafficking.
We provide nonjudgmental support to empower our clients in their pursuits through respect, resources, and relationships.
OUR PROGRAMS
OUTREACH
The outreach program creates opportunities to use cupcakes to build trusting relationships with potential clients through monthly visits to strip clubs and legal brothels.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
The Referral Program serves clients who have one or two particular needs by giving referrals to vetted, safe, and inclusive partners and resources who have agreed to see our clients pro-bono or at a reduced cost. These partners may be individuals or organizations in the community and include doctors, tax preparers, therapists, and parent and family resources.
CASE MANAGEMENT
The Advocacy Program is for clients with more robust needs. In this program, clients have the opportunity to meet weekly with their Advocate who will collaborate with them to set and achieve S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, + Time-Based) goals, with the help of incredible partners. The Advocacy Program assists with needs such as: Domestic Violence, Sex Trafficking, Substance Abuse, Career Development, and Homelessness.
MENTORSHIP
The Mentorship program is for clients seeking a support system and someone to check in with them on a regular basis, but who aren’t looking for connections to resources or assistance with achieving goals. Mentors meet with their clients either bi-weekly or monthly, based on the client's preference.

WHY CUPCAKES?
Why is an organization that specializes in supporting sex workers, and connecting them to community resources, named after a baked good? Our name grew its roots when we began visiting clubs in Las Vegas toting a box of pink cupcakes. These pastries were an icebreaker and conversation starter when offered to entertainers. After being repeatedly referenced as “The Cupcake Girls” during a club visit, we adopted it as our organization’s formal name. Cupcakes continue to be a symbol for our organization, and they consistently have a presence during club and brothel visits, adult industry events, as well as at each of our fundraisers.
