What is a Board of Directors?
The Board of Directors is the governing authority over The Cupcake Girls. They are also accountable to the government and stakeholders of the organization to be excellent stewards through duty of care, duty of loyalty, and duty of obedience. The Board exists to save the The Cupcake Girls time, money and energy with their wise counsel and advice. They model the core values of the organization and are the biggest advocates for The Cupcake Girls. The Board protects the organization from unwise decisions, provides encouragement, and advocates for the mission in the community. Each board member is an ambassador of The Cupcake Girls, and works to inspire the team and community to give financially.
